Here's Why Olivia Jade's Trademark Application Was Not Accepted

It looks like Olivia Jade‘s “Olivia Jade Beauty” trademark will not be moving forward just yet.

If you didn’t know, the 19-year-old vlogger is the daughter of Lori Loughlin and J. Mossimo Giannulli, who are reportedly connected to the nationwide college admissions scam.

The United States Patent and Trademark Office sent Olivia a letter warning her that her filing is in danger of abandonment because the “applicant must correct the punctuation in the identification to clarify the individual items in the list of goods,” according to People.

“Proper punctuation in identifications is necessary to delineate explicitly each product or service within a list and to avoid ambiguity. Commas, semicolons, and apostrophes are the only punctuation that should be used.”

Olivia seeks to trademark “make up kits comprised of moisturizer, primer, concealer, foundation, make-up powder, make-up pencils, eye make-up, eyeshadow, eye liner, mascara, blush, highlighter, bronzer, make-up setting spray lipstick lip gloss, lip stains, make-up remover.”

Her mother, Lori, recently put her home up as collateral for a $1 million bond while facing a charge of mail fraud.
