Nick, Kevin & Joe Jonas Open Up About New Jonas Brothers Music You'll Hear

The Jonas Brothers lean on each other in this shot from their cover story with Wonderland magazine.

The siblings – Joe, Kevin and Nick – opened up about a lot of things, including the brand new music headed our way.

“When we got back into the studio, I think we were able to craft a sound early on which really describes the sound of the project,” Nick shared. “It’s a real combination of what Joe did with DNCE, what I was able to do with my solo stuff, and combining those with elements that are just classic Jonas Brothers.”

Kevin adds, “It was definitely a different experience for us. It was a little bit of trial and error which was a nice change. I think back then,we’d walk in and all be in different places in our lives when we’d write songs – one person was going through a break up, one person had someone new in their lives – but now we’re all in pretty much similar places in our personal lives so it helps when it comes to writing music we can all really lean towards each other and also know when an idea is better than yours.”

“Musically, like Nick said, combining those sounds and finding a way to blend DNCE and mix solo music together so that way it’s still something that our fans would love but it’s fresh for new listeners out there.”

Joe also chatted about bringing the new music to fans on their forthcoming tour: “We just want to put together an unforgettable show that allows fans to relive some of the past and feel that nostalgic energy which is undeniably a part of this journey, but also then to look towards the future with the new music. This is turning the page to a new chapter together.”
