OlderPhillip Rhys Wants Disney to Reboot 'Zenon'!
Phillip Rhys is down for a new take on Zenon!
The 46-year-old actor, who plays Ava’s father Michael Jalali on Freeform’s Pretty Little Liars spin-off, The Perfectionists talked about one of his older projects during a recent interview with AfterBuzz TV that premiered Thursday (May 23).
Phillip is known to Disney fans as Proto Zoa, the space-aged pop star in the classic DCOM, Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century, which turns 20 this year.
When asked what he thought about a Zenon reboot, Phillip revealed that he’s all for it.
“Of course!” he said. “I think they’ve tried. They’ve tried to do different things over the years. They’ve tried a TV show…Very much so! Very much so! I, you know, I don’t know if I want to play an aging rocker, you know. Like, maybe he’s, maybe he’s manager now, right? … Behind the music kinda thing, that, that’s where I see him now.”
