Princess Estelle of Sweden Breaks Leg During Skiing Holiday

Sending all our get well wishes to Princess Estelle of Sweden.

It was revealed this afternoon that the seven-year-old heir to the throne has broken her leg during her family’s annual skiing trip.

The Royal Court shared the news with AftonBladet, Estelle was “taken to the hospital for an x-ray and given a cast and crutches. The injury is not believed to be serious as the family did not cancel their holiday.”

Margareta Thorgen, Head of the Information Department at the Royal Court, explained in a statement that “the court can confirm that Princess Estelle has suffered a fracture of the limb in connection with skiing. She is plastered [has a cast] and otherwise well.”

Estelle is a well seasoned skier and has been doing the sport since she was two.
