Thomas Doherty Shares Thoughts on Gender Reversal in 'High Fidelity'

Thomas Doherty thinks the gender reversal in High Fidelity is amazing!

The 24-year-old actor chatted about the series while taking the stage at Build Series on Thursday (February 13) in New York City.

The upcoming Hulu series is a re-imagining of the hit 2000 movie, where a record store owner revisits his past relationships through music and pop culture while trying to get over an ex.

The gender roles are swapped in the new show and Thomas stars alongside Zoe Kravitz, who plays the record store owner.

“I think the gender reversal is amazing. It kind of highlights this whole medieval, patriarchal way of looking at how men should behave in relationships, and how women should behave,” Thomas said during the interview.
