Disneyland Resort In Anaheim Reveals Plans To Reopen In July!

Disneyland and Disney California Adventure parks are getting ready to reopen!

The Anaheim resort just announced it’s plans to reopen, starting on Friday, July 17th.

The date is a significant one for the first Disney theme park, as it marks the 65th anniversary from when it first opened.

Both parks “will open with limited capacity, a reservation system, and with enhanced health and safety measures.”

Upon reopening, “certain experiences that draw large group gatherings – such as parades and nighttime spectaculars – will return at a later date. While character meet and greets will be temporarily unavailable, characters will be in the parks in new ways to entertain and delight guests.”

Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa and Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel are both set to reopen the following week on July 23rd, and the Downtown Disney District, with shopping and dining experiences, is set to reopen on July 9th.

Find out the safety measures they are taking on the Disney Parks Blog!

Shanghai Disneyland was the first park to reopen, back in May. The Walt Disney World Resort parks are set to also begin reopening on July 11th.

NOTE: These are just their proposed plans, and official reopening will only take place upon government approval.
