Little Mix Celebrate 9 Year Anniversary!

It’s almost been an entire decade of Little Mix!!

The girl group – Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall – became a group on The X Factor in 2011 under the original name Rhythmix.

The girls then went on to change their name to Little Mix and eventually win the entire competition!

Now, Little Mix has become one of the top selling girl groups of all time, and are celebrating their nine year anniversary.

“Nine years ago today our lives changed forever. Doing what we love every day with each other has been beyond our wildest dreams. Thank you to each and every one of you that’s supported us along the way, we love you more than words ❤️ #9yearsoflittlemix,” the band wrote on their Instagram page.

Leigh-Anne also shared her own post to celebrate.

“Happy Birthday to US!!! @littlemix 9 years of laughs, tears, incredible times, tough times, achievements, sisterhood, friendship and the most amount of fun you’ll ever imagine! @perrieedwards @jadethirlwall @jesynelson we’ve been through so much but we’ve always stuck together and when it’s all said and done we are sisters for life ❤️,” she wrote.
