Demi Lovato Reveals The Moment She Knew She Was Queer

Demi Lovato is opening up about finding out she was part of the LGBTQ+ community!

In a new teaser for the upcoming Facebook Watch special, Coming Out 2020, the 28-year-old dished on her moment of clarity, when she knew was queer.

“It was definitely when I was young and should not have been watching Cruel Intentions but I did, and it was that scene where they made out on the park lawn,” Demi told Tan France. “I was just like, ‘Oh, wait a minute. I really like that.’ I was like, ‘I want to try it!’”

“And then, when I was like, 17, I did get down with that, and that’s when I knew,” she added. “You want the tea? That’s it!”

The scene Demi is referring to in the 1999 movie Cruel Intentions, is a moment between two of the stars Sarah Michelle Gellar and Selma Blair, who have remained super close friends since!

Demi also shared that some of her songs that fans thought were written about guys, were actually written about girls.
