Camila Mendes & Maya Hawke Starring In New Netflix Film 'Strangers'

Camila Mendes and Maya Hawke are teaming up for a new Netflix movie!

The 26-year-old Riverdale star and the 22-year-old Stranger Things star will lead Strangers, from director Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, Deadline reports.

The new film is “described as a subverted Hitchock-ian dark comedy featuring the scariest protagonists of all: teenage girls. It follows Drew (Alpha, it girl) and Eleanor (beta, alt girl) who, after a clandestine meet-cute, team up to go after each other’s bullies.”

“i’m so excited it hurts 🤡,” Camila wrote on Instagram with the news.

Camila has starred in a couple of Netflix films, including Dangerous Lies and The Perfect Date, as well as the film The New Romantic, which is available on Netflix. Maya of course is no stranger (haha) to the streaming service either, as she is one of the stars of Stranger Things.

Just a couple of weeks ago, it was announced that Maya and her dad Ethan Hawke will star in their first movie together!
