The singer and actress will be debuting a music video for the track later tonight on Freeform, too!

Olivia Holt‘s new music is coming so soon!
The 20-year-old singer confirmed last week that she was dropping a new single, titled “Generous,” September 22.
Now, she is elaborating: not only is Olivia dropping “Generous” on Friday, but she is dropping the music video on Freeform during Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2.
“Tune-in to Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 on @FreeformTV Friday night to see the world premiere of the #Generous music video,” she tweeted.
So far from sneak peaks we know that the video features Olivia strutting down a hotel hallway in a maid outfit, blowing bubbles in a luxurious bath, and posing in red lighting.
We can’t wait!

It is high time that Olivia Holt release new music.
Fortunately, she seems to be on the same page as the rest of us! The 20-year-old “History” singer took to social media this afternoon to confirm that she is releasing new music on September 22 — in other words, only ten days away!
“Whoops… #Generous 9.22.17,” Olivia captioned her Instagram. The cover art features her posing on a faded green sofa, a rose between her fingers, with soft makeup and an enormous black robe.
“I want the lyrics to be authentic to me, and [for] the music [to] fulfill every element of pop, soul, and alternative, and to hear real organic instruments and tone,” Olivia said in a recent interview of her new music.
We can’t wait!
Olivia Holt has already launched an amazing career as a Disney Channel actress and singer, but she doesn’t take one moment of it for granted.
“I don’t take one thing in my life for granted,” the 20-year-old “History” singer told Refinery29 in a statement for their Gen. Z superstar roundup. “I truly believe that every mistake I’ve made, every person I’ve met and every place I’ve traveled to has all happened for a reason.”

Her other motto is, regardless of her success, to take risks and enjoy her life in the moment.
“I also don’t take life too seriously,” Olivia continued. “We’re only here for such a short amount of time it’s so important to take that time and live it so fiercely. I have to dare myself to do things I wouldn’t normally dare myself to do. Moral to this message: I put ketchup on everything.”
Honestly, ketchup on everything is a motto all of us can get behind.
Olivia Holt might be celebrating her 20th birthday today and getting a mountain of presents from just about everyone — but really though, she’s giving us an amazing present — an update on her music!
The “History” singer spoke with Huffington Post recently about any new tracks coming our way, and Olivia confirmed that she is in the studio!
“Yeah, I’m actually in the studio as we speak!” she shared. “Every free moment that I get, I’m writing.”
Olivia adds, “I’ve gotten to work with really cool people in the studio. Cool collaborations are in the mix — unfortunately, I can’t say who yet — and I’m really proud of the stuff that I’ve been working on. I’m excited for everyone to hear it.”

The Cloak & Dagger actress turned the big 2-0 on Saturday (August 5) and received so much birthday love!
She took to her Instagram to say thank you to everyone who helped her celebrate.
“Feeling so overwhelmed and blessed. Thank you big time for all the birthday love. Tightest squeezes to every one of you. Hi twenties… Let’s kick ass,” Olivia wrote.
She also included a super cute photo blowing out the candles on her cake!

“Happy birthday to my homegirl always @olivia_holt,” the Hamilton star wrote.
These two have proven that they stick by each other through anything and everything, and we love them for it. (They’re such good friends that even her boyfriend, Ray Kearin, was nervous to meet him!)
Olivia‘s former tourmates Forever in Your Mind also wished her a happy birthday.
