The 22-year-old singer was accompanied by friend and composer Jason Robert Brown as she performed her song “Dangerous Woman” during the show.
She posted a photo of herself on stage after the ceremony, writing, “Tomorrow!!! @mtv #movieawards #DangerousWoman accompanied by my friend, the 1 & only Jason Robert Brown.”
Ariana’s performance will air as part of the awards show broadcast the following day.
