The network announced the first wave of performers, and it is shaping up to be an amazing show.
The big event will take place on April 10, with Kevin Hart and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson set to host.

The 2016 MTV Movie Awards nominations have arrived!!!!
Star Wars: The Force Awakens nabbed the most nominations with 11.
Some of our other favorite nominees include Michael B. Jordan (Best Male Performance), Jennifer Lawrence and Daisy Ridley (Best Female Performance), and The Hunger Games cast (Best Ensemble).
MTV also unveiled two new categories for the show – “True Story” and “Documentary.”
The 2016 MTV Movie Awards, hosted by Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart, air on Sunday, April 10 @ 8:00 PM on MTV.
