Shawn Mendes likes to make bold fashion choices and he put his sleek style on display at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards held at Radio City Music Hall on Monday (August 20) in New York City.
The 20-year-old singer is set to have a big night as he is going to perform and he’s also a nominee.
Shawn will reportedly be singing his hit single “In My Blood” and the video for the song is nominated for three awards – Best Pop, Best Cinematography, and Best Direction.
Make sure to tune in at 9pm because Shawn warned his fans that he’ll be performing at the top of the show!
The 25-year-old “God Is A Woman” pop star and the 24-year-old Saturday Night Live star paired up together on the red carpet at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards on Monday night (August 20) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
In addition to performing during the show, Ariana is nominated for several awards during the evening’s ceremony, including Video of the Year (“No More Tears Left to Cry”) and Artist of the Year.
The 18-year-old singer and Lil Xan just dropped a brand new song today ahead of the award show.
“I think we’re putting one on [my album] and one on hers,” he revealed to Billboard about their future collaborations. “Right now, I feel like we can make a better track for mine, but we have a track dropping Monday called ‘Live or Die.’”

Voting for the “Best New Artist” award, presented by Taco Bell, will remain active until the VMA broadcast.
The “VMAs” will air live from Radio City Music Hall on Monday, August 20th @ 9PM ET/PT on MTV.
