Fans think that Ariana Grande is heading back to television!
American Horror Story co-creator Ryan Murphy recently started following the 26-year-old star on Instagram leading fans to think she might be involved in the show’s next season. The only other person he follows is his husband David Miller.
Just this past weekend, Ryan also posted a photo which appears to be a teaser for the upcoming season of the anthology series.
The photo showed the character of the person in the rubber suit, who first made an appearance on the show back in season one.
Ariana was most recently on an episode of Jim Carrey‘s show Kidding, and before that, she hasn’t been seen acting in anything since Hairspray Live in 2016!
Ariana has also previously worked with Ryan before in the Fox series Scream Queens.
“Every queen has a princess and @ladygaga only needed to choose one, @ArianaGrande who has shown that she’s the leader of her generation,” the quote read, regarding their upcoming collaboration on Gaga‘s Chromatica, “Rain on Me.”
“why am i crying. also these edits? people are so talented the f–k,” Ariana responded to a fan account posting the quote, along with some cool fan edited photos of the two stars.
Ariana Grande doesn’t love certain impersonations of her.
The “7 rings” star reblogged a video made by filmmaker Jordan Firstman doing “impressions,” in which he called out meme creators for “degrading” moments from entertainment.
“What if we, like, we took a moment, like a small clip from a movie or a TV show. Something that, like, an artist really poured their soul into and it, like, it just took them years to make….What if we took a moment from that and we kind of, like, recontextualized it—like, does that make sense? And we put a completely arbitrary meaning onto that thing that the artist loves so much? Kind of, like, degrading its entire value,” he said in the video.
“Omg can this please also double as your impression of the ponytail TikTok girls who think doing that Cat Valentine [Victorious] voice and that wearing winged eyeliner and a sweatshirt is doing a good impersonation of me…’cause this really how it feels…‘Degrading its entire value’ I screamed,” she captioned a now-deleted Instagram Story.
The 25-year-old entertainer and her pal Tommy Brown made a video of a virtual performance of her song “My Everything“, because of course, social distancing.
“tommy n i sending u some virtual love 🤍💻🎙 hope you’re all staying safe, sane, healthy and as creative as possible,” she captioned the video on Twitter.
The song is the title track off of her second album, which came out almost six years ago.
The 26-year-old pop star wished Lady Gaga a happy birthday on Instagram on Saturday (March 28) and also shared a little tidbit.
It has been rumored for a while that Ariana will be featured on Gaga‘s new album Chromatica, and her caption seems to have confirmed the speculation. K-pop group BLACKPINK is also said to be on the album!
“happy birthday to a literal angel that has changed my life in many ways ! i’ll tell u more about it later but … u make my heart feel so full and happy and understood @ladygaga. wishing u all the joy in the world today and every day ! have some pasta. 🤍,” she wrote with a photo of the two.
The photo that Ariana posted also looks to be from inside a studio.
