• Clear Channel Radio and City of Hope just launched “Play For Life,” a national campaign to raise funds to support City of Hope’s lifesaving cancer research and music therapy programs. The campaign will feature online auctions for one-of-a-kind experiences with top recording stars like Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, and Carrie Underwood, among others. Proceeds will support cancer research at City of Hope and the institution’s music therapy program, which helps patients with cancer and other serious illnesses reduce pain and physical discomfort, develop coping skills, enhance relaxation and promote positive thinking.

Be Heard, Be Strong, Be Proud, I Wanna Make Some Noise

Bridgit Mendler, Hayley Kiyoko, Blake Michael, Naomi Scott and Adam Hicks definitely made some noise on Friday night with Lemonade Mouth pulled in 5.7 Million viewers!

Ranking as the No. 1 TV Telecast among Kids 6-11 (2.3 million/9.4 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (2.1 million/8.5 rating), and cable’s No. 1 original movie of 2011 among Total Viewers (5.7 million), the Lemonade Mouth crew not only had that to celebrate — but some soundtrack feets as well!

The Lemonade Mouth soundtrack is No. 1 on the iTunes Soundtrack chart and is the No. 4 Album overall. Moreover, hit songs “Somebody,” “Determinate” and “Don’t Ya Wish U Were Us” rank in the Radio Disney Top 30.

Adam Hicks buddies up with costar Blake Michael at the yellow carpet premiere of Lemonade Mouth held at Stevenson Middle School on Tuesday afternoon (April 12) in Los Angeles.

Once the duo arrived, they headed straight for the “pit” — a gated off area across from the carpet to sign a ton of autographs for fans waiting their arrival.

Adam, 18, stopped to chat with us and told us why Lemonade Mouth was a dream come true. Check out the video!

Adam Hicks stars as Wendell ‘Wen’ Gifford in the upcoming Disney Channel original movie, Lemonade Mouth.

Wen, as described by Adam is, “He’s very musically inclined. He plays keyboard for the band and also raps. He’s a big motivator for the band. If any of the band members start to second guess themselves, he’s the one who brings everyone together.”

Adam, who also wrote three songs for the film, says that the music in the movie is “very edgy. It’s just all out rocking. It was incredible to write the rap lyrics for the three songs…just really fortunate.”
