Speaking with ET, the 24-year-old pro dancer previewed what fans can look forward on the finale tonight.
“We have a really fun, just playful jazz [number] coming for our first dance and then I think we’re going to do something no one’s really seen on the show before for our freestyle, so that’s my tease,” she shared. “…It’s just gonna be a blast.”
We have no doubt of that!
“I have so many mixed emotions. I’m so excited for tomorrow. I’m devastated that it’s over tomorrow.”
Jenna also talked about the shortened season flying by and what she’s learned from being partnered up with Adam on the show.
“It’s been such a learning experience for sure. I think I’ve learned the most from Adam actually and you know I think America was enamored by his ability to remain himself and I think that’s why we fell in love with him,” Jenna says.
She adds, “He’s really taught me to be confident in myself and I found this new charisma about what I offer and what I bring to the table, and I’m so, so grateful I was partnered with him.”

The 28-year-old figure skater spoke with Access Hollywood after the show earlier this week about Mirai and her partner, Alan Bersten, being eliminated from the competition.
“When we heard our name, the first thing I thought was ‘come on, Mirai,’” Adam revealed.
“He screamed for a second and then he stopped,” Jenna Johnson chimed in. “I was like ‘are you okay?’ and he was still saying her name. I could tell he was really thinking about it.”
Adam continues, “I am hurting for her so much right now. I wouldn’t be able to make it to this point if it wasn’t for her and everything that we went through – all of the traveling and all of the touring. She’s such a good friend of mine…it’s really hard.”
Speaking with ET after the show, Jenna explained that the duo want to do something “mindblowing. Just crazy, fun, out of the box. I want people to just sit there and not know what hit them. So that’s what our goal is.”
Adam also opened up about the whole experience and giving Jenna all the credit for making him a dancer.
“I am kind of reflecting on everything Jenna and I have done throughout the competition,” Adam shared. “I am so lucky that she’s my partner, and I think that she’s one of the best people that I’ve ever met.”
And as for being considered a front-runner to win, he adds, “I don’t really think about it. Every time, we go out and compete, we want to create a moment. I think that we’ve been able to create three awesome and completely different moments, and now, we want to make it four!”
The duo – Team Just Friends – blew us away with a Contemporary performance set to “O” from Coldplay. Adam actually performed to the same song at the 2018 Olympics.
The team earned a score of 39 points out of 40 for the performance.
The team tied with Adam‘s BFF Mirai Nagasu and her partner, Alan Bersten, with 37 points before performing a team dance together.
Speaking with People after the show, Adam and Jenna revealed their plans to have a double date with both of their boyfriends – Jussi-Pekka Kajaala and Val Chmerkovskiy – after the show is over.
“We promised each other we’d do a double date right when he gets here,” Jenna shared, before both of them said that dancing would not be in the cards.
Adam adds, “[We’ll] probably be taking a break, but having a good time.”

The 28-year-old figure skater and his pro partner, Jenna Johnson, earned 24 points for their Cha-Cha last night on the show, one of the two highest scores of the night.
So, how will Team Just Friends top it? By heading back to the studio of course.
“We go right back into the studio and we start working super hard on our next dance,” Adam shared with E! after the show.
He adds, “We had so much fun tonight and I think we’re going to try to channel that and up our game even more.”
Stay tuned for more details about their next dance!
