AJ Mitchell is having quite the day!

The 18-year-old singer just dropped his brand new song “Talk So Much“, TODAY (May 17) is his birthday, AND he’s in Hawaii.

“NEW YORK THANKS FOR ROCKING WITH ME LAST NIGHT! ❤️ -now omw to Hawaii -turning 18 in 2 days -also I might be announcing something on my birthday…” AJ tweeted earlier in the week.

This is the second new song for AJ in a week’s time. Just last Friday, he joined Nina Nesbitt and teamwork on their new song and video “After Hours“.

AJ Mitchell and Nina Nesbitt just dropped a dance hit – “After Hours“!

The duo joined forces with duo teamwork, who produced the track.

“AFTERHOURS is out now everywhere and I’m sitting here on tour thinking how f–king crazy it is that this is my life now,” AJ wrote on Instagram.

“it’s a song I wrote a while back that turned into this magical & unexpected collab. when I heard how @teamworksongs had transformed it I wanted keep my vocal on it. I’d describe it as a ‘bop’… god you guys keep me young 💅🏼,” Nina shared about the song earlier in the week.

Musical duo Max & Harvey, actress and singer Jordyn Jones, and former Big Time Rush member Kendall Schmidt had fun at the 2019 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards pre-party held at a private house on Friday (March 22) in Venice, Calif.

They were joined by Knight Squad‘s Daniella Perkins, Owen Joyner, and Lexi DiBenedetto, Cousins for Life‘s Scarlet Spencer and Micah Abbey, A Family for the Holidays‘ Brooke Butler, Last Man Standing‘s Jet Jurgensmeyer, actress Jayden Bartels, dancer Nia Sioux, and YouTuber Brent Rivera.

Also in attendance were singers Sofia Reyes, Baby Ariel, and Annie LeBlanc, musical artists AJ Mitchell, Indiana Massara, Bianca and Chiara D’Ambrosio, and Jenna Raine, as well as Alex and Alan Stokes, Ben Azelart, Bryce Xavier, Charles Gitnick, and Matt Smith.

Guests enjoyed cupcakes and other yummy treats, a ball pit, a swing, and more surprises.

There was also a surprise dance performance to KCA host DJ Khaled’s “All I Do Is Win,” choreographed by celeb choreographer Kyle Hanagami featuring star teen dancers AC Bonifacio, Nicole Laeno, Tati McQuay, Will Simmons, and Jayy Hancock.

The 2019 Kids’ Choice Awards takes place TODAY in Los Angeles and will premiere tonight at 8 p.m. ET/PT!

Back in September 2018, AJ opened up to about social media to YSBnow.

“I have a number on Instagram but that doesn’t mean anything,” AJ shared. “I’ve always had that number, but I never really saw my fans so when I went on tour and I actually saw my fans in real life, I was like ‘Wow, these people are actually real, and they support me’. Before, it’s all just a number—I just saw names, but I didn’t see those people in real life.”

The two pop superstars came ready to perform at Q102′s Jingle Ball 2018 on Wednesday night (December 5) in Philadelphia, Penn.

Dua Lipa, Monsta X, 5 Seconds of Summer, G-Eazy, AJ Mitchell, Marshmello, Calvin Harris and Bazzi all hit the stage throughout the night.

“I’ll Never Be The Same,” Camila wrote after the show on her Instagram along with video from her epic performance.

“Serving some dominatrix elf,” Dua said of her look on Instagram.

The 17-year-old opened up about his musical roots, staying true to who he is and social media. Check it:

On his musical upbringing: “I grew up in a musical household. My sisters were always singing and we’d always be harmonizing… [I] hopped on the piano and started playing. [My first song] was called ‘Two Little Birds Falling Out Of A Tree’ – ‘Two birds sitting in a tree, one fell off and broke its knee.’”

On why he doesn’t care about social media numbers: “I have a number on Instagram but that doesn’t mean anything. The two groups hit the stage at the annual concert during the US Open on Saturday (August 25) at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York City.
