THR reports that Taissa, 20, co-star in ABC’s L.A. Crime, which is a true-crime procedural anthology explores sex, politics and popular culture across various noteworthy eras in L.A. history and season one will focus on two L.A. cops in search for a Bonnie & Clyde-esque serial killing team amid the rock-and-roll, coke-infused revelry of the 1980s Sunset Strip.
Taissa will play Karen, who is described as more Berkley grad than rocker chick – even though that’s the crowd she tends to hang with. Karen is an aspiring ?journalist who has a close call with the killer, Clark. While ?gunning for a position at Rolling Stone, Karen takes a job working for Diver Hawkes at his paparazzi company.
Andrew, is moving on from The Walking Dead to The CW’s Dead People, via Deadline.
The pilot centers on “a down-on-his-luck, semi-alcoholic but roguishly charming cab driver who, after a near-death experience, suddenly has the ability to interact with ghosts, including the late ex-wife he has never gotten over.”
