Congrats are in order for Awkward star Ashley Rickards – the actress is currently writing her first book, “Get Your Sh!T Together!”
“Yup, my first book ‘Get Your Sh!t Together’ will come out next year!” the 21-year-old actress tweeted after THR confirmed the news.

Ashley is set to share stores about her childhood, including tales of being bullied and even how she got kicked out of the Girl Scouts. The book is due out next Spring!

Ashley Rickards and Allie Grant hit the red carpet for the premiere of their new film, Struck By Lightning, held at Mann Chinese 6 Theater on Sunday night (January 6) in Los Angeles.
The two star as Vicki and Remy in the movie about high school senior Carson Phillips (Chris Colfer) who was destined for bigger things than his close-minded small town could ever offer. He was on a path to greatness, but destiny had a different plan when he was suddenly killed by a bolt of lightning in his school parking lot.
Demonstrating that life is what happens while you’re busy planning your future, Carson recounts the last few weeks of his life via witty, insightful flashbacks, including a blackmail scheme targeting the popular kids in school that he concocts with his best friend (Rebel Wilson).
Struck By Lightning hits theaters on January 11th and is also available on demand through on demand, iTunes, Amazon Watch Instantly and VUDU.
