Bailee Madison is celebrating big time today — her debut novel, “Losing Brave”, is out NOW!

The Good Witch actress co-wrote the young adult thriller with Stefne Miller, and the novel centers on Payton Brave’s quest to find out what happened to her twin sister, Dylan.

“Stefne Miller and I were attracted to the genre when we realized that psychological thrillers were becoming more and more popular in the adult space,” Bailee once shared about why they chose to write a thriller. “But hadn’t been done for the young adult market yet.”

Bailee actually joins an elite group of celeb authors who published works of fiction.

Bailee Madison was sort of killing two birds with one stone, so to speak, with her new book, “Losing Brave”, that she co-wrote with Stefne Miller.

Speaking with Miami New Times, the actress, producer and now author, opened up about how the concept was born and how the novel could be translated to film.

Bailee actually met Stefne while she was filming Annabelle Hooper and the Ghosts of Nantucket, and from there, they wrote the book over Skype conversations, phone calls, and emails.

“It centers on a girl named Peyton Brave and picks up a year after her sister’s disappearance,” Bailee explains of the novel. “It follows her through this state of turmoil and confusion and sadness and pain…. Within all this self-destruction, she finds out that two other girls have gone missing, so she now takes it upon herself to find the person responsible and find out what is happening to these girls.”

While writing, one thing Bailee and Stefne made sure of was that the book could be easily translated into a movie.

“Stefne and I were determined to make this book 100 percent viable for the screen,” she adds. “I loved the idea of writing a book and getting to later adapt it into a screenplay.”

“Losing Brave” will hit shelves on Tuesday, January 30th.

Bailee Madison is the next in line for her own collection with This is Nowadays fashion brand.

In a brand new promo video, the Good Witch actress and author opened up about her own style and what you can expect from her collection coming soon to Macy’s.

“Throughout the feminine [vibe], you’re also going to get that sporty chic look,” Bailee says of including military inspired pieces.

She added, “[It will] still be very bright and happy with the tones and also kind of funky with the edge we get to through on these pieces.”

Bailee‘s spring collection will be online and in stores on Friday, January 26th.

Bailee Madison steps out in style for Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies and Mysteries Winter 2018 TCA Press Tour at Tournament House over the weekend in Pasadena, Calif.

The Good Witch actress wore a Vitor Zerbinato dress to the annual event, where she met up with Natasha Bure (aka Candace Cameron-Bure‘s daughter).

If you didn’t know, Natasha actually starred with her mom in a recent Hallmark movie, Switching Christmas.

“I mean, she’s a tough co-star,” Natasha shared at the event. “I’m kidding, she’s great.”

And yes, they get comparisons all the time, too: “I think she’s stunning so obviously I appreciate the compliment.”

Alex Lange and Bailee Madison spent Christmas Eve and Day apart, he was in London while she was still in Los Angeles, but to make up for the distance, he FaceTimed her just after midnight so they could open at least one present together on Christmas Day. Awww!

In his latest YouTube video he explained that he was in London with family because his sister was about to have a baby and that Bailee would be flying in on the 27th, then for one of her Christmas presents, they were going to fly to Paris for New Year’s Eve.

Bailee Madison tries to start a truck in the thrilling trailer for her new film The Strangers: Prey At Night!

Bailee Madison and her boyfriend Alex Lange are on the most amazing New Year’s trip!

Earlier this week, the adorable couple kicked off their holiday vacation in London and are now in Alex‘s hometown – Paris, France!

Bailee and Alex have been documenting the trip on Instagram, sharing their sweet moments including their quest to find french fries in the middle of the night, visiting Notre-Dame and meeting up with Alex‘s BFF Raphael!

“This is the best day ever in Paris because I have my two favorite people in the world…what an amazing start to 2018,” Alex said on his Instagram story.
