Billie Eilish Reveals Just How Many Times She's Actually Watched 'The Office'

It’s no secret that Billie Eilish is obsessed with The Office.

The 18-year-old singer recently joined the show’s stars Steve Carrell and Brian Baumgartner on the “An Oral History of The Office” podcast to chat about the show.

During the episode, they talked about Billie‘s song “my strange addiction,” which actually samples audio from The Office, and she talked about how many times she’s seen the full series, which lasted for nine seasons.

“So I started watching at 12 and I’ve seen it 14 times now. All the way through, which is really crazy,” Billie said. “And honestly…because I’ve been getting older, obviously every time I watch it, I understand something new because I started at 12. And I honestly, if you asked my parents, most of the things that, it makes me sound so…stupid, but the most of the things that I know are because of The Office.”

Brian even said that he feels like they deserved one of Billie‘s Grammy awards for their contribution to her debut album.

“We feel like our contribution on the album was the most significant. So if you can send one over, we’ll split it. It will be fine,” he said.

“I got you. I don’t need all of them. You can have one,” Billie responded.

Billie Eilish Launches New Signature Ukulele With Fender

Billie Eilish now has her own ukulele for sale!

The 18-year-old musician has teamed up with guitar brand Fender to release her own signature instrument.

Billie designed the ukulele and put her signature “blohsh” symbol all over it.

“It used to be where I could write everything, because it’s simple. And I think the ukulele brings a different feeling to every single … it inspires a different kind of writing. I feel like different instruments always make me write differently,” she says in the video.

Billie also shared that the ukulele was the first instrument she learned how to play when she was about six years old.

“As soon as she burst onto the scene with her 2015 single ‘Ocean Eyes,’ it was clear that Billie Eilish is a force to be reckoned with,” Fender said in a statement. “In the years since, she has established herself as a new kind of pop culture icon, taking the fashion and music industries by storm on her own terms. Billie‘s meteoric ascent to pop stardom started with the ukulele, the first instrument she learned to play. Designed in collaboration with Billie Eilish, her Signature Ukulele is a stage-ready instrument that embodies Billie‘s bold, unmistakable style.”

“I’ve been watching these for years, we have both been watching them for years. And yeah, quarantine’s been weird and I know you all feel the same,” she added. “It’s been weird and we don’t know how long this is gonna go. There’s barely anything that feels like there’s any hope in but I think the future is something to be super hopeful in. And the unknown and what is to come…we’ll be ok one day, maybe not right now but I think that’s what’s making me hold on.”

Billie Eilish Slams Donald Trump, Endorses Joe Biden In DNC Speech - Watch Now!

Billie Eilish spoke out during the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday night (August 19).

The 18-year-old musician slammed the President while urging people to vote for presidential nominee Joe Biden.

“You don’t need me to tell you things are a mess. Donald Trump is destroying our country and everything we care about,” Billie started her speech. “We need leaders who will solve problems like climate change and COVID, not deny them. Leaders who will fight against systemic racism and inequality.”

“And that starts by voting for someone who understands how much is at stake, someone who is building a team that shares our values,” she continued. “It starts with voting against Donald Trump and for Joe Biden.”

“Silence is not an option, and we cannot sit this one out. We all have to vote like our lives and the world depends on it because they do. The only way to be certain of the future is to make it ourselves. Please register, please vote,” Billie concluded.

Billie also performed her latest single “my future” live during night three of the convention.

Finneas Says Billie Eilish's 'my future' Is An Evolution of Her Songwriting

Finneas Says Billie Eilish's 'my future' Is An Evolution of Her Songwriting

Finneas is opening up about his sister Billie Eilish‘s new song “my future“!

The track was released last week, and now the older brother is dishing on his thoughts about it.

Finneas joined Billie and their dad Patrick on me & dad radio, where they talked about the song, which they of course worked on together.

“Today’s a special day because ‘my future’ has been released,” Billie shares about the song. “I am so excited. We made this song towards the beginning of quarantine. It was raining a lot. I had little puppies around and I was feeling a lot of things and I’ve been very excited to put this one out and I’m ecstatic, I’ve gotta tell you.”

“I really like this song,” Finneas says. “I feel like this song is an evolution of you as a songwriter and a good representation of the more optimistic mindset that we have had I think… you oscillate during a period like this between like a pessimistic mindset and a optimistic mindset and I feel like this is the optimistic day.”

“It’s a real real thing that we should be talking about and thinking about — you know, the future’s exciting man and growth is important,” Billie said.

Patrick chimed in with his thoughts on the song, saying, “I know it’s shocking but I like it… this is really incredibly special and beautiful production and wonderful singing and great song.”

“I think it shows a lot of growth and I am happy with it,” Billie added.
