Finn Wolfhard‘s band Calpurnia is parting ways after almost three years together.
The 16-year-old Stranger Things star and his bandmates took to their Instagram to share the sad news.
“It’s bittersweet to share this news, but we want to let you know that our time playing together as Calpurnia has come to an end. We are extremely grateful for the support we’ve received over the past few years. What seemed to us like an unimaginable reality came to be, and we have been thrilled to share the ride with you,” the group wrote.
They continued, “It’s been an honour and a gift to meet, work with, and play for so many wonderful people. We feel lucky and hugely grateful for the many fantastic opportunities that came our way. We’re all going to be starting fresh chapters in our lives: new projects, new music, new creative ventures, and new experiences to come. One last giant thank you to our friends at Royal Mountain Records, our manager Bix, our families, and especially our amazing fans. We’ll never forget you!”

Finn Wolfhard is rocking out!
The 15-year-old Stranger Things actor and music star hit the stage with his band Calpurnia on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday night (July 23).

The Canadian indie-rock band performed two tracks: “City Boy” and “Greyhound.”
The band, which formed last year, features Ayla Tesler-Mabe, Jack Anderson and Malcolm Craig. Their debut EP, Scout, was released in June, and also features their single “Louie.”

Finn Wolfhard‘s band, Calpurnia, is giving us all the good stuff today!
The four-piece band just released the first song “Louie”, from their upcoming EP, Scout, which is out on June 15th..
“‘Louie’ is the lively and colourful product of a studio transformation,” guitarist Ayla Tesler-Mabe shared about the track.
She adds, “It was definitely the intention to record a song that sounded as live as possible, and we sincerely hope that this energy comes through to the listener when you listen…”
