Chloe x Halle have released their new album Ungodly Hour and it’s so good!

The album was delayed by a week out of respect for the Black Lives Matter movement and you can now listen to it right here.

Chloe revealed that the title for the album came about after they worked with Disclosure.

“We wrote this song [the title track “Ungodly Hour”] with Disclosure, and we had the best time. I forgot what I was watching, but I heard the phrase ‘ungodly hour’ and wrote it in my notes. [It] kind of stuck out to all of us, and we were like, ‘What can you say with this?’ We all came up with this sentence: ‘Love me at the ungodly hour,’ which means love me when I’m at my worst; love me when I’m not all dolled up and made up. Love me when all my insecurities are out on the table,” she told Teen Vogue.

You can download the album now on iTunes or stream it below on Spotify.

Chloe x Halle are dishing on their new music!

The sister duo opened up about working with Disclosure on the title song from their upcoming album Ungodly Hour, and more.

“We wrote this song [the title track 'Ungodly Hour'] with Disclosure, and we had the best time. I forgot what I was watching, but I heard the phrase ‘ungodly hour’ and wrote it in my notes,” Chloe told Teen Vogue. “[It] kind of stuck out to all of us, and we were like, ‘What can you say with this?’ We all came up with this sentence: ‘Love me at the ungodly hour,’ which means love me when I’m at my worst; love me when I’m not all dolled up and made up. Love me when all my insecurities are out on the table.”

“For Ungodly Hour we were so excited to just flip the narrative of being the perfect angel and show the other side[s] of us,” Halle said of their album. “The dark side, the naughty side, the things that happen that you don’t see behind the scenes.”

“We wanted to show our sensual side because we are growing as young women, but we still kept it classy and cute,” Chloe added. “It was just really fun for us to do that. We also wanted to start dancing this era, and just something really simple. And it makes us so happy to see everyone doing that dance on TikTok.”

The girls also dished on returning to their YouTube roots and hoping to get recognized for their work with awards in the future.

“Awards would be nice. Being at the top of these Hot 100 lists would be beautiful and amazing, but as long as I’m growing and I’m a better version of myself tomorrow than I was today, I am content,” Chloe said of their future hopes.

“We’ve kind of gotten back to our roots and started doing what originally got us started, which is doing YouTube covers, interacting on social media, and connecting with our beautiful fans through there,” Halle added about promoting the album during quarantine.
