Just a few weeks after their show, Life Sentence, was cancelled, Lucy Hale and Elliot Knight reunited for an amazing trip together.
The two actors met up in Cambodia for a philanthropic getaway with Ripple Effect.
Lucy wrote about the trip on Instagram, “These kids at this orphanage have so little and I’ve never seen such happiness when we arrived to spend time and play with them.”
She continues, “Grateful to have my eyes opened to different ways of life and to recognize what truly is important. This is going to be such an amazing week.”
Lucy and Elliot headed to the beach with the kids on a day trip and during some downtime, Lucy even caught up with Steven R. McQueen and ate a fried spider!
Elliot Knight is just as bummed as we all are about Life Sentence being cancelled – most likely, even more.
Starring as Wes on the series opposite Lucy Hale, the 27-year-old British hunk shared a sweet message after hearing about the show being cancelled.
“From the first day of shooting our pilot to the last day of filming this season in January, this has been one of my favourite experiences,” Elliot writes. “I will always remember going to work everyday with a smile, leaving exactly the same, loving the people I was with and having the time of my life making something special with all of them.”
“Today we heard that we won’t get to come back to tell more of our Life Sentence story – which hit us all. But I am so glad that we even got to tell chapter 1. Thank you to our tireless writers, our beautiful crew who made every day in Vancouver a dream, @thecw and @doozerproductions for this opportunity, and the brilliant @richkeith and @theerincardillo for making any of it possible.”
Elliot continues, “I’ve loved this cast; working with and watching you all over the past year has been a constant joy. I can’t say I’ve enjoyed a job as much. And thank you to everyone who has watched and supported the show! We love you, it means the world to all of us that you’re there and we hope you will stick with the Abbotts to the end of our season to see all the hard work we put in to doing this story and these characters justice. We hope you enjoy it! The rest is for you guys x.”
In “Our Father the Hero”, Wes is less than happy about seeing Dr. Grant (Riley Smith) performing at the bar that he and Stella (Lucy Hale) are at.
Meanwhile, with Aiden (Jayson Blair) facing a growing problem, he keeps the faith that Peter (Dylan Walsh) will keep him out of trouble, while Stella struggles with not telling Aiden the truth about who really tipped of the police.
Meanwhile, Lizzie (Brooke Lyons) and Diego (Carlos PenaVega) struggle with making the right choice about the twins’ academics.
Life Sentence airs TONIGHT, May 4th @ 9PM ET/PT on The CW.
Everything looks okay with Stella and Wes at the moment in this new still from Life Sentence – but it’s all about to change.
In tonight’s episode, “Wes Side Story”, Stella (Lucy Hale) feels like she and Wes (Elliot Knight) need to get back into a romantic rhythm, but things take a turn when Wes gets a surprise visitor – the girl he was actually supposed to marry before he eloped with Stella!
Meanwhile, Aiden (Jayson Blair) is torn over whether or not he should tell his father (Dylan Walsh) the truth about the woman he is dating, and Ida (Gillian Vigman) is struggling with Peter’s new relationship.
You might still ‘ship’ Lucy Hale with Ian Harding because of Pretty Little Liars, but it’s really hard NOT to love her with her new co-star Elliot Knight.
Just yesterday, Elliot shared the sweetest note about working with Lucy on their new CW show, Life Sentence, and you’ll completely swoon over it.
“When the person you’re married to at work is your favorite person to work with in real life,” Elliot captioned with one of the promo pics from this week’s episode.
He adds, “Shout out to miss @lucyhale my guiding light making @cw_lifesentence and just a little star. Can’t wait to have heaps more fun with you.”
And Lucy‘s response is even better, and we 100% can not deal with this cuteness. Check it out below!
Troian Bellisario used to work with Lucy Hale on Pretty Little Liars and now she’s meeting up with Lucy‘s new co-stars!
The 32-year-old actress hung out with Life Sentence actors Brooke Lyons and Elliot Knight during a visit to the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles on Thursday (March 15) in Los Angeles.
They were joined by Troian‘s husband Patrick J. Adams and Jane the Virgin‘s Yael Grobglas for the Make March Matter campaign.
Troian and Patrick were in charge of handing out coffee, hot chocolate, and snacks to families, nurses and doctors and visited young patients at their bedsides.
Elliot and Brooke teamed up to make animal masks and color with the patients.
Yael handed out gift bags filled with coloring books, beanies, and other goodies.
Stella and Wes on Life Sentence are quickly becoming one of our fave TV couples and we were having quite a time giving them a ship name — that was until we saw Elliot Knighttweet about the couple today.
Dubbed “WeSt”, the couple is actually facing a big ordeal on tonight’s episode.
First up — the INS unexpectedly shows up to Stella (Lucy Hale) and Wes’ apartment to check the legitimacy of their marriage, and they realize that they need to defend their marriage or Wes might be deported back to London.
Meanwhile, Peter (Dylan Walsh) and Ida (Gillian Vigman) decide to sell the house, but when an offer comes in, Peter hesitates on following through.
