Emily Browning attends a screening of her film Sucker Punch hosted by the organization Australians in Film held at the Harmony Gold Theatre on Thursday (March 24) in Los Angeles.
The 22-year-old actress was joined by fellow Aussie costar Abbie Cornish at the screening.

Emily shared about her experience, “It was weird because we went from three months of training�”I’d had no makeup on for three months. I’d been sweaty and gross and wearing sweatpants…and then I’ve got three pairs of eyelashes on.”

The 22-year-old actress plays Baby Doll, a “young girl who is institutionalized by her wicked stepfather. Retreating to an alternative reality as a coping strategy, she envisions a plan which will help her escape from the facility.”
Emily wore a lacy Erdem dress and Prada heels.

The 22-year-old actress, toting a Prada corda+cuoio two-tone cinghiale tote bag, recently sat down to chat with The Playlist about never auditioning for Twilight and how she almost considered quitting acting altogether.
“At one point I was very hesitant about acting. But actually [Sucker Punch], to be honest with you, is the one that’s brought me back and made me realize, ‘this is absolutely what I want to do!’ I have faith in this industry, if a movie making experience can be this positive and this much fun, then I can’t imagine ever doing anything else.”
Emily continued about her opportunity to take the role of Bella Swan, “I chose not to audition. I was at a point in my career where I wasn’t sure I wanted to work, I definitely didn’t want to sign onto a trilogy so I didn’t audition, but there were a lot of things people said: ‘you turned it down’ no that’s not the case, ‘you were offered it and you turned it down,’ no, no, no, that’s not what happened at all.”
Sucker Punch hits theaters on Friday, March 25th.
