Imagine growing old and your grandkids asking how you met your best friend and replying, “Oh, we had the same stalker.”
That’s exactly what Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone will be doing because it’s actually how they met!
The two Oscar winning actresses opened up to W Magazine for their “Best Performances Portfolio” and revealed the true story of how their friendship came to be.
“Jennifer Lawrence and I both had the same stalker, John the Orchestra Guy,” Emma explains. “He would text us both and say things like ‘I’m running late on my way to the soundstage. Can you warm up the orchestra for me? Text me back and let me know you got this.’”
She continues, “He wasn’t really a stalker. He must have worked at a studio or something, because he had a lot of people’s numbers. Jen and I texted for a year before we actually met. As she was driving to my house, she thought, ‘Oh, my God, what if it’s John the Orchestra Guy’? And I thought, ‘Oh, my God, what if it’s John the Orchestra Guy’?”
“So Jen calls me and says, ‘I just want to make sure you’re not John the Orchestra Guy.’ I wasn’t. And we met. It’s our adorable love story. ”

The Hunger Games star and the Crazy, Stupid, Love actress snapped this cute pic together at the event hosted by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences at The Ray Dolby Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland Center on Saturday (November 11) in Hollywood.
Jennifer turned heads in a colorful sequin crop top and matching bottom that featured a flowing black skirt.
Emma was all smiles as she posed in her sleeveless white dress, featuring buckle designs and a plunging neckline. She completed her look with silver heels and a a colorful purse.
Also in attendance were Jennifer‘s boyfriend and Mother! director Darren Aronofsky, Emma‘s Battle of the Sexes co-star Andrea Riseborough, and Lady Bird‘s Saoirse Ronan and Greta Gerwig.

Emma Stone landed the No. 1 spot, making $26 million over the past 12 months in large part due to her La La Land success.
Jennifer, who topped the list in 2016 and 2015, ranked third this year, while Emma ranked sixth.

Jacob Staudenmaier, a 17-year-old from Scottsdale, Arizona, created an elaborate La La Land-inspired video as a prom-posal for his favorite actress, hoping against the odds for a response of any kind. The elaborate video quickly went viral, and eventually even caught Emma‘s attention.
While she regretfully could not attend the soir�e, Emma did respond to the video, telling him she “smiled through that entire beautifully orchestrated video.” Now she has gone one step further, sending Jacob a corsage for his date and a boutonniere for himself!
“Jacob, a little something for you and your lucky date tomorrow,” she wrote in the accompanying note. “Have a great time! Much love.”
It looks like he absolutely did!
It was so sweet of Emma to send such a thoughtful gesture.
