The 22-year-old actress will be honored at the Elle Women in Hollywood event later this month.
“I just knew, from the moment I read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone that I was meant to play that role,” Emma told the glossy.
She added, “I put one of the Potter films on the other night. And it was amazing to me that I had done all of that. I have to remind myself every now and then.”

Earlier in the day, the 22-year-old actress stopped by BBC Radio One to chat about the movie.

Emma Watson is all smiles outside of BBC’s Radio 1 Studios in London on Wednesday morning (September 26).
The 22-year-old actress stopped by the station to chat about her new movie, The Perks of Being A Wallflower.
Emma shared with Nylon magazine, “Whatever people might think about it, whatever criticisms they have, all three of us [Emma, Logan Lerman and Ezra Miller] were so vulnerable — all three of us really gave it everything we could and everything we had, and all three of us went into the movie terrified and very much aware of what this book means to people.”
Emma is also pictured at opening night of If There Is I Haven’t Found It Yet held at the Laura Pels Theatre in New York City last week.

The 22-year-old Perks of Being A Wallflower actress, wearing a Tommy Hilfiger blazer and skirt with a shirt by Confezioni Crosby, dished about going back into films after a break for university life.
“I never wanted any of the things that a lot of the people who go into this industry want [...] I never wanted to be famous. My parents never wanted this for me. I never even wanted this until a year ago,” she shared.
Emma added, “I was so overwhelmed by the way that people responded to the idea that this might not be what I want to do, but I hope people will respect my choice more now that I really took time to consider it, and what it really means. Now that I’ve made my decision, I’m serious about mastering my craft and really doing things that I genuinely believe are important.”
FYI: Logan is wearing a shirt by A.P.C. with jeans by Topman. Ezra wore a jacket by Black Fleece by Brooks Brothers, shirt by Burberry Prorsum, and pants by Original Penguin.
