Rowan Blanchard and G. Hannelius may have differences in opinion when it comes to the upcoming Presidential election – and that’s totally OK!
But fans seem to be upset after G. seemingly criticized Rowan‘s Instagram photo of herself wearing a Bernie Sanders t-shirt.
G. tweeted (and then deleted), “but ur for Bernie tho?? My fellow feminist row — thought you’d support our girl [Hillary Clinton]!! ?
Rowan didn’t directly respond, but later tweeted, “Omg I just logged onto Twitter and now I gotta GO omg”
“so crazy to think that social media is basically a breeding ground for unsolicited advice & commentary and that can be wonderful & terrible,” G. later wrote.
Either way, each girl is entitled to her own opinion!
G Hannelius is officially 17!
The former Dog With A Blog actress celebrated her birthday on Tuesday, December 22nd and got the sweetest messages from her on-screen siblings, Blake Michael and Francesca Capaldi.
“My my has the time gone by. I remember sitting in the audition waiting room across from this little girl We were asked to read together for the executives. Our enormous height difference was so funny,” Blake wrote with a then and now collage. “And now, 4 years later, there’s not a huge height difference… So I guess we’re not funny anymore? Happy birthday my dear G. I’m so proud of everything you’ve accomplished.”
Francesca added, “Happy Birthday to my awesome TV sis @ghannelius I hope your 17th birthday is/was AMAZING. I hope we can get together soon to celebrate! Love you!”
After celebrating with her friends and family, G took to her own account to thank fans for the birthday messages: “So overwhelmed by all of the birthday love I’m receiving today- thank u ???????? I can’t believe I’m 17 ?? !! Still 7 at heart. Wishing you all the happiest of holidays.”
G Hannelius has a brand new collection of Make Me Nails out and yes, it’s the cutest collection ever.
The 16-year-old actress and entrepreneur (who turns 17 in less than 10 days!), and co-founder Lauren Jones, have teamed up with PBTeen for the holiday collection, and it’s going to be available in stores nationwide! The new MMN designs are $12 (for a set of 18) and buyers can choose from two exclusive Pottery Barn Teen holiday designs — Winter Wonderland and Winter Blush.
JJJ had the chance to speak with G about the new designs, teaming up with PBTeen, her new projects and more. Check it:
JJJ: Make Me Nails is insanely cute and popular! What drew you to just nails?
G Hannelius: Thank you! I love how nail art is a fun and versatile fashion accessory that is always changing and evolving. It keeps our entire business exciting and interesting.
JJJ: How did you develop your nail skills?
GH: I’m no pro, but though watching and creating my own nail art tutorials on YouTube starting when I was 10 I developed a love for it. I’m still learning and developing skills and so many fantastic nail artists continually inspire me.
JJJ: Do you have a favorite design that you’ve already debuted?
GH: We did a gorgeous geometric print on our website (www.makemenails.com) called “Color Block the Haters” and it was hand-designed by our awesome designer Jenny Da and the colors came out so beautifully. I think they are really eye-catching wraps that are really fun but not overwhelming.
