NBC has green-lit dramas Believe and Crisis in the first batch of pick-ups.
Crisis summary: When Washington’s most powerful players are pulled into an international conspiracy, an unlikely puppeteer will bring everyone from CEOs to The President of the United States to their knees by threatening the things they hold most dear.
Believe summary: An unlikely relationship develops between a young girl named Bo with a gift and a man named Tate (Jake McLaughlin) sprung from prison who has been tasked with protecting her from the evil elements that hunt her power.
Grown Ups 2 summary: The all-star comedy cast from Grown Ups returns (with some exciting new additions) for more summertime laughs. Lenny (Sandler) has relocated his family back to the small town where he and his friends grew up. This time around, the grown ups are the ones learning lessons from their kids on a day notoriously full of surprises: the last day of school.
“The odds of working on another show with a former cast mate, again, are just so slim. I’m so grateful that it happened at all,” she shared.
Halston added about her character, “I play Amber Fitch, who is the class president and is kind of friends with everyone. She sort of becomes the leader of the group when they’re taken and tries to keep everyone strong.”
