The four starlets chat with the glossy about everything from the film to their outside lives. Check it:
Josh Hutcherson on Amandla: “She is more mature than most of the other tributes—including myself. I swear she is a 25-year-old trapped in a 10-year-old’s body.”
Isabelle on going after what she wants in life: “Whenever I get upset or don’t get something that I really wanted, my mom will be like, ‘You know you can’t stop because that’s just going to make everyone else around you win.’”
Amandla on Jackie: “Just being around her bubbly energy makes you feel 10 times better if you’re having a bad day.”
Willow on competing with her twin sister for roles: “Sometimes my sister gets a callback and I’m bummed out. But, you know, we each get roles. Being supportive of each other is definitely the big thing.”
The Hunger Games Collectible Covers are out on stands on March 13th.
The 17-year-old actress/singer debuted the video early this morning on TeenVogue.com.
Jackie tells the mag about the tune, “‘Catch Me If You Can’ is a lot more upbeat and a lot more pop. More of a dance tune, but there’s also a deeper message to it, like all of the songs I do. It’s about running away from your past and I don’t know if you necessary hear that when you hear the song, but that’s what I had in mind.
She added, “I wrote it last year, and then I booked The Hunger Games and so we held on to it. When we initially filmed it, we had it in this small studio space. But because it’s a dance song, it needed to have more so we re-filmed it on the beach with me and my friends.”
Jackie, 17, recently chatted with the Huffington Post about privately naming Foxface for the flick.
She shared, “It’s something I came up with when I was doing character work…I think it was just different. It was really fun because I got to use my imagination and really make her come alive. Hopefully [that comes across] in the movie. So obviously, she has to have a name! She’s not Foxface in her hometown.”
