Jake Paul is explaining himself, while also facing charges.
The 23-year-old YouTuber, who denies he was involved in any looting and riots, was charged by Scottsdale police in Arizona for allegedly unlawfully entering into the Scottsdale Fashion Square mall when it was closed, according to a report from ABC 15 Arizona on Thursday (June 4).
He “was present after the protest was declared an unlawful assembly and the rioters were ordered to leave the area by police,” according to the report, and was charged with criminal trespassing and unlawful assembly, which are misdemeanor charges.
Jake also uploaded a video on Wednesday (June 3) explaining his side of the story, with all money being donated to Black Lives Matter.
The 23-year-old YouTuber filmed himself and some of his crew out on Saturday night (May 30) in Scottsdale, Ariz.
On his Instagram stories, Jake shared videos of him and his friends out during protest riots, and eventually inside a mall after people broke in and were looting.
“To be absolutely clear, neither I nor anyone in our group was engaged in any looting or vandalism. For context, we spent the day doing our part to peacefully protest one of the most horrific injustices our country has ever seen, which led to us being tear-gassed for filming the events and brutality that were unfolding in Arizona,” he wrote. “For context, we spent the day doing our part to peacefully protest one of the most horrific injustices our country has ever seen, which led to us being tear-gassed for filming the events and brutality that were unfolding in Arizona.”
“We were gassed and forced to keep moving on foot. We filmed everything we saw in an effort to share our experience and bring more attention to the anger felt in every neighborhood we traveled through; we were strictly documenting, not engaged. I do not condone violence, looting, or breaking the law; however, I understand the anger and frustration that led to the destruction we witnessed and while that’s not the answer, it’s important that people see it and collectively figure out how to move forward in a healthy way. We are all doing the best we can to be helpful and raise awareness; this is not the time to attack each other, it’s time to join together and evolve.”
The twins just recently moved into a new house and Grayson bought his brother a very expensive house warming gift, a $40k watch, and Jake helped reveal the present with a different, fake gift.
“Alright fine grays the best brother of all time,” Ethan said on Twitter. “But for real this sh– made me emotional it was tooooo nice 😢”
While they were hanging out, the also made a TikTok video together, where they recreated an old photo.
“time flies…. @ethandolan @graysondolan #foryou,” Jake captioned the video.
“the trio is back haha @GraysonDolan @EthanDolan,” he added with the video on his Twitter account.
Speaking of TikTok, Ethan and Grayson recently enlisted Addison Rae and Larray to help teach them TikTok dances in a hilarious YouTube video.
The 22-year-old YouTuber shared a new photo on Instagram, wearing absolutely nothing, and flexing one of his arms.
Jake took the photo in his bathroom and used a shrimp emoji to cover up his private area.
“3 million likes and i’ll make an only fans,” he captioned the pic.
The day before, Jake celebrated 20 million YouTube subscribers.
“I don’t like writing these things and am not good at celebrations but this feels so amazing to accomplish something like this,” he wrote in a note shared on Twitter. “I CANNOT wait to keep entertaining, growing, and accomplishing more milestones with all of you!!! thank you so f–king much… WOW…”
