Star and dad David Deluise tweeted the pic featuring Selena Gomez, Jennifer Stone, Maria Canals-Barrera and Jake T. Austin.

“It was my idea to kind of start this, because I wanted to do it really badly. I want to make sure I promise the cast and the fans a really, really good hour-long event that they can enjoy and will leave them feeling good,” Selena recently shared about the special.

Airing early 2013, the Russo family and their friends travel to Tuscany, Italy, to meet their long lost relatives…but when Alex (Gomez) tries to prove she’s more than a seemingly carefree young Wizard, she inadvertently conjures a spell that creates a Good Alex and an Evil Alex.

Jake T. Austin is heading back to TV!

The 17-year-old actor has joined the cast of ABC Family’s drama pilot The Fosters, which is an hour long drama from producer Jennifer Lopez.

On the show, Jake will play Jesus Foster, a charming and pragmatic teen who’s the opposite of his twin sister Marianna (Cierra Ramirez) in the drama about a lesbian couple raising a family (THR and Deadline).

Hayden Byerly and Danny Nucci will also star on in the new series.

Jake T. Austin is dishing about the upcoming two-part reunion special of Wizards of Waverly Place!

In an interview with Hollywood Life, the 17-year-old actor opened up about the hour-long special saying it will “close the show out and give fans a resolution to the series.”

Jake even chatted about his on-screen sister Selena Gomez taking on the role of executive producer, saying, “Celebrities are progressing and maneuvering through different parts of the industry. It’s smart for her to do that as a producer,” he shared. “It’s a lot of work putting together the financing, detailing, production, and everything. I’m glad she’s ready to tackle all those responsibilities.”

Jake went on to talk about his other co-star David Henrie, who unfortunately won’t be a part of the reunion due to a conflict in his schedule. “He’s gotta do what he’s gotta do as a professional and what’s going to benefit his career,” Jake said. “For me, I’m going to miss getting to play off him and work with him on camera, but he’s able to work on some projects that bring his talents to life.”

Bailee Madison and Jake T. Austin hit the red carpet together at The American Humane Association’s 2012 Hero Dog Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Saturday night (October 6) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The two presented an award at the ceremony later in the night.

Jake T. Austin lounges back on a chair in his feature from the new issue of Glamoholic mag.

The 17-year-old actor opened up to the mag about choosing his roles carefully.

“I want my fans to grow with me,” Jake says. “Some kids from Disney try to change their image in order for people to take them more seriously, but it’s really just about being passionate about your work while keeping in mind that most of your fans are young.”

He added, “Having young fans definitely means having more responsibility in your personal and professional life. I just want to play characters that people respect, both kids and adults.”

Wizards of Waverly Place is back!

The whole cast — Selena Gomez, Jake T. Austin, Jennifer Stone, David DeLuise, Gregg Sulkin and Maria Canals-Barrera — are back for a reunion movie, which will premiere in early 2013.

Selena is also executive producing!

Jake T. Austin suits up to honor Tom Cruise at the Friars Club and Friars Foundation held at The Waldorf-Astoria on Tuesday night (June 12) in New York City.

The award, which is the group’s highest honor, has only been given out three times. Previous recipients are Douglas Fairbanks, Cary Grant and Frank Sinatra.

The Icon Award is an opportunity to “pay tribute to someone whose accomplishments transcend the entertainment industry by positively redefining the very culture we live in,” the organization said (via THR).
