Elle Fanning keeps it cool and casual while out running errands in Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon (October 8).
Director Haifaa Al Mansour recently spoke with MTV about collaborating with the 17-year-old actress on the upcoming The Storm in the Stars.
“Elle has this elegance, she has this strength underneath. It’s amazing to have all that mixture in a young actress,” Haifaa shared, adding that they start shooting in November.
Elle is also pictured leaving a class in an off the shoulder top the day before. Older sister Dakota was seen out with boyfriend Jamie Strachan in SoHo, New York City.

The 17-year-old About Ray actress opened up about her future in acting and possibly directing with sister Dakota.
“I really hope that I can be an actor forever. That’s what I really want to do,” Elle confessed before adding she’d love to make a movie with her sister, where they don’t play sisters.
She added, “And I’d love to direct one day. That would be very exciting…No [on directing with Dakota]! Oh, my God, we’d get in so many arguments! We’d be like the Cohen Brothers or something� we’d be bickering all the time. I don’t know if I could do it.”
Elle is also pictured below out for a sweet treat in Los Angeles and Dakota was seen out with boyfriend Jamie Strachan in New York City earlier in the week.

If cast, she’ll play the role of Art3mis, the avatar of Samantha Cook within the Oasis, which is the virtual reality universe at the center of the sci-fi story.

Recently speaking with Nylon mag, Dakota joked about the fact that some people think she’s still a teenager.
“I’ve made my peace with the fact that there will be some people who, for the rest of my life, will believe I’m, like, nine years old. I have this joke that I’m literally going to be 35, married, and pregnant and people are still going to say, ‘Oh my god, you grew up so fast! I can’t believe it!’” she shared.
Dakota added, “And yeah, sometimes when you’re 21 years old and people are still saying that, you just want to rip your hair out. But I’m OK with it. I know who I am.”
