The end of Raising Dion is here.
It was just reported that the Netflix series, from executive producer Michael B Jordan, has been canceled after two seasons on the streaming platform, according to Variety.
One of the stars of the show, Sammi Haney, shared the news on Instagram on Tuesday (April 26).

Ja’Siah Young returns as Dion, with Alisha Wainwright as his mom Nicole in the Netflix series.
Here’s a synopsis: Two years after defeating the Crooked Man (Jason Ritter), Season Two follows Dion as he continues honing his powers with the support of his mom and Tevin (Rome Flynn), his Biona trainer who catches Nicole’s eye. After befriending new student Brayden (Griffin Robert Faulkner) – a fellow powered kid – a series of alarming events unfold, and Dion learns that danger is still looming. Navigating twists, turns, and surprise visitors, Dion and Nicole must prevail again — not just to save themselves, but the entire city of Atlanta.

The first look photos for season two of Raising Dion have been released!
Alisha Wainwright and Ja’Siah Young return in the lead roles of Nicole and her son Dion.

Charlie Puth stops to pose as he arrives for the 2016 Global Green USA Pre-Oscar Party held at Mr. C Beverly Hills on Wednesday (February 24) in Los Angeles.
The 24-year-old “One Call Away” crooner was joined by Justin Baldoni (with his wife Emily), Stevie Wonder, Emily Ratajkowski, Jason Ritter, Maggie Grace, Paula Abdul, and Ed O’Neil.
Meanwhile, Justin and his business partner Ahmed Musiol just opened a content creation studio, Wayfarer, which focuses on inspiring the millennial market, Generation Z, and more, as well as pushing female empowerment.
“We care deeply about the advancement of women, and we’re focused on finding projects in the marketplace that embody that goal,” Justin said. “Until women are truly equal in all aspects of life, men are going to be held back as well. It’s deeply important to us.”

Carly Chaikin and Thomas Middleditch hit the red carpet at the Broad Green Pictures’ screening of Break Point held at the TCL Chinese 6 Theatres on Thursday (August 27) in Hollywood.
The two actors were joined by the stars of the flick J.K. Simmons, Amy Smart, David Walton, Jeremy Sisto, Joshua Rush, and Chris Parnell.
