The event, while providing the Hollywood community with one of its first opportunities to demonstrate their extreme disappointment in the new Administration when it comes to protecting our Earth, also honored Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Council Chairman David Archambault, II and other People, Places & Planet Leaders.
The fundraiser also raised awareness and monies for Global Green’s climate initiatives in LA, San Francisco, New York City, New Orleans, Washington, DC and cities throughout the country.
The 14-year-old Stuck in the Middle star shares the room with her younger sister, Aliyah, and the magazine enlisted the help of designer Heidi Moore of idiehdesign.com to update the look.
Here’s some of what Jenna had to say:
On her new wall color: “When I was younger, I wanted a bright and colorful room so I picked yellow and blue paint! It’s really bright and clean looking now, and it makes the room look more grown up — which is exactly what we wanted!”
On her new furniture: “Before the makeover, I was a little nervous to be honest. I wasn’t sure new furniture would fit in the space or how the design would turn out, but I was amazed when I saw the room! Me and my sister love it so much!”
On how she likes to relax in her space: “I love sitting in the new bean bag chair! It’s so comfy. I sit in it and practice drawing, hang out with friends or talk on the phone.”
