“The Fault in Our Stars” author John Green is sending signed copies of his beloved novel to the public library in Ferguson, Missouri.
The 37-year-old writer signed on to Reddit during an AMA with Ferguson Library Director Scott Bonner, after he said the novel was a favorite among patrons.
Someone later criticized John for making his donation public, so he took to Twitter to explain. Read his tweets below!

Amazing news – the Paper Towns cast is filling itself out nicely!
Halston Sage, Justice Smith, and Austin Abrams have officially landed the roles of Lacey, Radar, and Ben in the upcoming film adaptation of John Green‘s popular novel.
“Thrilled that @halstonsage will be Lacey in the #PaperTownsMovie. Such a smart and talented actress, and a big fan of the book,” John tweeted. “I don’t know if Justice Smith has a twitter, but he is going to be Radar in Paper Towns, and I AM VERY EXCITED. #GetJusticeOnTwitter”
Meanwhile, John RTed news that Austin had also been cast, joining Cara Delevingne and Nat Wolff in the main roles.

It’s a great year to be John Green — the Young Adult author is getting another book turned into a movie.
Let It Snow: Three Holiday Romances, a collection of short stories that John wrote with fellow writers Maureen Johnson and Lauren Myracle has had the movie rights optioned by Universal.
“Very excited that the movie rights to Let It Snow have been optioned. Yay @LaurenMyracle and @maureenjohnson!” John tweeted after the news was announced.
So far, John has had the rights optioned to his novels Looking for Alaska, Paper Towns along with the hit summer movie The Fault in Our Stars.

After Paper Towns author John Green and director Jake Schreier discussed how blown away they were by Cara in her audition, she couldn’t contain her joy.

Cara Delevingne looks gorgeous in a shiny blue outfit while attending the J. Crew & Vogue London Fashion Week Party held at Winfield House on Tuesday evening (September 16) in London, England.
The 21-year-old model joined her gal pals Suki Waterhouse and Clara Paget at the party. She was also spotted out and about earlier in the day leaving her home in a casual outfit.
It was announced earlier that day that Cara will be starring in the upcoming movie Paper Towns, based on the novel by John Green.
“Cara Delevigne‘s audition blew everyone away (including me!) and she understands Margo profoundly. I am so excited!” John tweeted after the news broke. “(I should probably learn how to spell Cara‘s surname at some point.)”

Birdy keeps it cute in a patterned dress as she attends The Fault in Our Stars premiere held at the Ziegfeld Theater on Monday night (June 2) in New York City.
The 18-year-old British singer, who has three songs on the film’s soundtrack, was joined by author John Green. Shameless star Emmy Kenney also attended.
