We are so excited to see Jordan Fisher hit the stage this morning for his performance in Disney Parks’ Magical Christmas Celebration!
The 22-year-old entertainer is currently starring on Broadway in the musical Hamilton and it’s practically impossible to get a ticket to see it, so we’re gonna have to be thankful that Jordan is on our TV instead.
There are going to be a lot of great performances throughout the special, which kicks off at 10am ET this morning (December 25).
This time it’s called Move: Beyond, and will be kicking off in April 2017, with over 50 stops across the nation.
Julianne announced the tour on her website, and the siblings also made an appearance on GMA this morning to promote the tour, which will have variety of dance styles, including ballroom, tap, salsa, hip-hop and “everything in between.”
Here’s everything we know about the tour so far:
The Choreography: “We have some really cool images that we want, you know, [to create] this really cool place,” Derek said of the earth elements inspiration. “They just kind of inspired us just from like a … just kind of getting grounded from a grounding place.”
The Costumes: “Glamourous and modern and fresh,” Julianne says. “But also one thing that is very different that we’re going to incorporate this year is the use of props and the use of projection and stuff like that, which we really didn’t do the last couple of times.”
The Meet and Greets: “Obviously one of our favorite parts about the tour is not just being on stage and putting on a great show — it’s connecting with the fans. So we have all these VIP experiences where [fans] know we’re going to come back. There’s like a whole lounge area where we get to have conversations and talk [to guests.] We always go over in our meet and greets because we literally love talking so much to them, and answering questions and hearing about their lives and stuff. So we’re excited about that part too.”
The Dancing With The Stars judge spilled a few secrets about the finale this week to press.
“We’ve got four competitors left. It’s really tight. We obviously have amazing dancers,” Julianne dishes, not willing to place a bet on anyone to win. “Everybody’s personality is so strong, and everybody is so different and unique.”
FYI: Julianne wore a Zuhair Murad ensemble with Brian Atwood heels and Lee Savage clutch. Rachel glittered in a Pamella Roland dress, Kavant and Sharart jewelry, Giuseppe Zanotti shoes and a Lee Savage clutch.
