In tonight’s episode “Movie Truck,” When Michelle’s (Sutton Foster) friend, Talia (Angelina McCoy), comes to town, their plans for a raucous birthday road trip are derailed by Fanny (Kelly Bishop), who has left for an unexpected vacation, putting Michelle in charge of her dance classes.
Michelle’s birthday plans go even further off-track when Talia discovers Truly’s (Stacey Oristano) clothing boutique, Sparkles. Meanwhile, the girls sneak into the visiting movie truck to see an R-rated movie.

Kaitlyn Jenkins shows off a pair of glittery kicks during the Backstage Creations Teen Choice Awards Celebrity Retreat held at the Gibson Amphitheatre on Saturday afternoon (July 21) in Universal City, Calif.
The Bunheads actress fell in love with Ryka’s stylish shoes: “I’ll definitely go for a run in these! These are so comfortable and the colors are so fun!”
Kaitlyn also recently opened up to All Thing Girls about her love for dance.
“The freedom that it gives me,” she shared. “When I dance something takes over inside of me that is hard to explain. It’s kind of like I become someone else, expressing my emotions through my movement. Some of the best time I have dancing, other than actually performing onstage, is when I go to the studio, put on some great music and do self choreography!”

In “Money For Nothing,” Michelle (Sutton Foster) is concerned when she discovers that Fanny’s (Kelly Bishop) bill-paying method includes old hat boxes and unconventional payment plans. After she finds herself in the middle of the collection process, Michelle decides to help Fanny better manage her finances.
But Michelle’s efforts could end up jeopardizing the upcoming Spring Flower Festival and Fanny’s original ballet, “Paper or Plastic.”
Meanwhile, Boo’s (Kaitlyn Jenkins) relationship with the hot bartender (Nathan Parsons) at her new job makes the girls jealous.

Making matters worse, Michelle has a run-in with the law when she takes off in Hubbell’s car to blow off steam, only to break down in the driveway of a handsome, local recluse.

She ends up bonding with some of her new mother-in-law Fanny’s (Kelly Bishop) dance students: sweet “Boo” (Jenkins), who would give anything to be a “bunhead” but struggles against her body type; rebellious Sasha (Goldani Telles), who possesses the classic ballet dancer’s body and talent but who’s heart isn’t quite into dancing.
Then there’s shapely Ginny (Buntain), who is not yet comfortable in her own skin; and fun-loving Melanie (Dumont), who is ready for whatever life throws at her.
