Amber Pollock (Scerbo) is the queen bee of Patrick Boone High School, and the only thing missing to her reign is the Prom Queen title. Having worked for years towards obtaining the crown and most popular girl status, Amber lets nothing and no one stand in her way. That bad behavior comes back to literally haunt her when a freak accident at Prom ends Amber’s short, nearly-perfect life and, facing an unpleasant after-life, she is given the task that could save her soul – to get the school’s least popular girl to be voted Prom Queen.
Amber is sure her future is sunk when she learns her charge is none other than Lisa Sommers (Shaw), a shy girl who makes claymation films with her three best friends and whose fashion sense is not up to Amber’s standards. As for Lisa herself, the last thing she wants is to be Prom Queen, but when Amber offers to help her get the attention of her crush, Nick, Lisa gives Amber the benefit of the doubt.

Lindsey Shaw stops by the Clevver TV studios to chat about her role on Pretty Little Liars!
Here’s what the 21-year-old had to share:
On her character Paige McCullers, who will appear starting February: “[She] is a very competitive member of the swim team. She is giving this girl Emily a very hard time. You kind of think she’s a little evil at first because you don’t know her agenda, what her motivation is. Then you realize she’s just a sweet girl who just has insecurities and troubles like everybody else.”
On cutting her hair for the role: “It just moves with you. It’s awesome. I really didn’t think I would get this role because there’s already three brunettes on Pretty Little Liars. [The producers said] if you cut and color your hair, you got it.”
On her first day on set: “I was a little nervous driving in that day. I got there and it was just instantly awesome. The crew is so nice. After the first scene was done, I was like, I feel so good here. This is going to be so much fun.”
Don’t forget to tune in January 3 for the return of Pretty Little Liars on ABC Family!
In the upcoming movie Lindsey plays Ally Mash, the number one junior tennis player in the country hurts her ankle in a match right before the American Junior Championship against Russian champion Katina Upranova (Susie Abromeit).
Side-lined, she discovers the teenage life she never got to live by training a lazy, good-looking tennis player, Farrell Gambles (Massey) so that he can get the tennis scholarship he needs to go to college. On the court, Ally knows all the right moves, but in love and in real life, she’s got a lot to learn.
