AnnaSophia Robb looks out into the ocean as she continues to film Soul Surfer on Sunset Beach in Hawaii on Tuesday afternoon (February 16).
The 15-year-old starlet plays Bethany Hamilton in the film, which also stars Helen Hunt, Lorraine Nicholson, Dennis Quaid, Carrie Underwood and Chris Brochu.
Chris is actually the brother of Sonny with a Chance‘s Doug Brochu.
Soul Surfer is expected to open in theaters in 2011.

AnnaSophia Robb peeks over on-screen dad Dennis Quaid‘s shoulder to share a smile with the paparazzi before they film a scene for the upcoming flick Soul Surfer in Oahu, Hawaii on Wednesday evening (February 3).
The next day, the 16-year-old actress was spotting with on-screen BFF Lorraine Nicholson filming some more scenes on the beach. The duo took a ten-minute break between filming scenes and worked out on the beach — doing some crunches before heading back to work.
It was just announced that Carrie Underwood would be joining the Soul Surfer cast. Real Soul Surfer Bethany Hamilton told People about Carrie‘s role of Sarah, “Sarah has been my best friend since I was very young. After my shark attack, she always knew what to say to push me on. I can’t wait to see her on set.”

The duo have been spotted out all week, working on the flick which tells the story of Bethany Hamilton, who was attacked by a tiger shark when she was 13-years-old.
AnnaSophia and Lorraine looked to be filming scenes at a local shop called SeaMaids today. AnnaSophia was wearing the Hurley One & Only YC Shorties.
It was just announced that country singer Carrie Underwood will also be joining the cast as the church youth leader.
