Savannah Chrisley and basketball star Luke Kennard have sadly ended their relationship
The Chrisley Knows Best reality star confirmed the news to EOnline in a statement.
“The last 4 months I’ve been dating Luke have been great but as a young woman of faith I made the decision that with where Luke and I both are in our careers, it was best to part as friends rather than deal with the pressures of wondering if you are the only one,” Savannah says.
She adds, “I was brought up to know my worth. I’m 20 now and so excited to live my life as beautifully as God intended. I will forever love the Kennard family.”
Savannah and Luke made their relationship public earlier this summer at the NBA draft where he was drafted by the Detroit Pistons, and most recently took a trip to the Cayman Islands for her birthday.
Savannah Chrisley is having one of the best early birthday celebrations with boyfriend Luke Kennard.
The new couple are on a little getaway in the Cayman Islands, celebrating her birthday just a little bit early since Luke will be unable to be with her on her actual one.
“Last night I got ready and walked out to a private dinner on the beach…and so many more surprises!! It was insane!!!” Savannah shared in an Instagram slideshow.
She adds, “it truly was a night that will be remembered! So many fun memories made!! Oh and did I mention…luke got me the prettiest bracelet ever.”

The reality star and student’s dad Todd just revealed how the two met and the story of their meet-cute is truly a meet-cute.
“We were actually at a restaurant — at Craig’s (in Los Angeles)�having dinner,” Todd shared with EOnline. “He came in with his agent and his family, and their table was right beside ours.”
He continued, “After we left, he sent [Savannah] a message on Instagram and told her how beautiful she was. He didn’t want to come over and bother our family but that he wanted to let her know how beautiful he thought she was.”
“After they started seeing each other and talking, I found out from the father that [Luke] had been wanting to message her for a year,” Todd adds. “So when that happened he thought that was God telling him that’s what he should do.”
We mean, how adorable is that?!

The reality star joined his family at the event, where Luke was recruited by the Detroit Pistons to play for them in the upcoming season.

During the draft, one of the facts that were flashed on screen was that he knows every word from the Oscar-winning Disney feature Frozen.
