Aly Raisman wears some brightly colored tees on her way into dance practice in Los Angeles on Friday (May 10) and Saturday (May 11) afternoon.
The 18-year-old gymnast and her pro partner, Mark Ballas, are gearing up for the semifinals on Dancing With The Stars.
“I had no idea what to expect coming into this competition. I have surpassed my expectations! I never expected to improve this much and to learn so much,” Aly told the L.A. Times.
Aly wrote on Twitter, “Loving our rumba routine & our song is one of my favorites!!! Can’t wait for you all to see it!! #DWTS :)”

The 18-year-old gymnast and her 26-year-old pro partner Mark Ballas hit the floor with a sultry Argentine Tango, which earned them 29/30.
“Hours and hours of rehearsals thanks @MarkBallas & @HenryByalikov for being such great teachers… Hope I make you both proud Monday night!!” Aly tweeted over the weekend for their trio challenge.
The three danced to “Hit the Road Jack” and earned straight 9′s.

“Jive & Argentine Tango this week! #DWTS,” Aly excitedly tweeted, ready to get started on the choreography.
She added later on, “That being said there are a million more nice comments, so I appreciate all the support over the past year. It’s been awesome! THANK YOU!”

The pro team danced off against comedian Andy Dick and his partner Sharna Burgess for some extra points.
Aly and Mark won the dance off — giving them a total of 32 points! Watch their dance off below!
“Love @andydick dancing with him was a mutual decision because we both wanted cha cha! No one else wanted that dance!” Aly wrote of facing off with Andy.
