“OMG I feel so accomplished right now..I found my twin!!! Little Maddie from GTC in Michigan!! Her whole gym calls her Mini-Mac,” McKayla wrote. “Not Impressed with mini me..She is so cute I can’t take it.”

McKayla Maroney and Jonathan Horton get friendly with some animals inside Busch Gardens in Tampa Bay, Fla., on Thursday afternoon (October 25).

The gymnastics champs met animals including Tufts, the African ground hornbill, Zeny the red-ruffed lemur and a group of cheetahs at the new Cheetah Run exhibit.

“Got to feed, and hold, some amazing animals yesterday at Busch Gardens in Tampa Florida!!” McKayla tweeted along with several pics from her visit.

The two also stopped by My Fox Tampa Bay for an interview and took time out to visit Children’s Healthcare in Atlanta on behalf of the Ryan Seacrest Foundation.

The Fierce Five hang out with Derek Hough and Shawn Johnson during their Kellogg’s Gymnastics Tour in this fun video.

The girls — Aly Raisman, Jordyn Wieber, McKayla Maroney, Kyla Ross, and Gabby Douglas — gave Shawn some tips for her mambo on Dancing With The Stars: All-Stars.

McKayla even gave Shawn advice on how to be sassy and showed her how to do a body roll after Derek mentioned that he often referred to her in the dance studio when it can to sass.

The 16-year-old Olympian will be guest starring on an upcoming episode of the CW’s Hart of Dixie.

McKayla will play the role of Tonya, a friend of Rose’s (McKaley Miller), who comes to Rose’s defense.

Hart of Dixie follow Dr. Zoe Hart (Rachel Bilson), who after her dreams of becoming an cardio-thoracic surgeon fall apart, accepts an offer to work in a small medical practice in Bluebell.

McKayla Maroney snaps a pic of her temporary knee brace from the hospital.

The 16-year-old Olympic champion and her team mate Aly Raisman were both injured during the Kellogg’s Tour of Gymnastics earlier in the week.

USA Gymnastics states, “McKayla Maroney and Aly Raisman were injured while performing on the uneven bars.

“Raisman, who was examined at the arena by the physician for the performance, has bruised knees. She will follow an icing and additional treatment regimen with continued assessment by the medical staff, but does not require any further testing at this time.

“Maroney is undergoing medical evaluations and tests today to determine the extent of her injury to her left knee. A further update will be provided once Maroney’s injury is diagnosed and confirmed.”

The Fierce Five run into The Wanted during the 2012 MTV VMAs held at Staples Center on Thursday (September 6) in Los Angeles.

The girls — Aly Raisman, Jordyn Wieber, McKayla Maroney, Kyla Ross and Gabby Douglas — met up with the British band at the 2012 NBA Baller Beats for XBOX VMA Lounge.

The Fierce Five introduced Alicia Keys‘ performance and Gabby even performed a modified floor routine on stage!

“Had the most amazing time at the VMAs.. That was one of those unforgettable kinda nights” McKayla tweeted.

Gabby added, “Had so much fun tonight at the VMA’s with my girls it couldn’t have been better!!!”

Olympic swimming champ Missy Franklin was also in attendance. “Had such an amazing time at the #VMAs tonight! Met so many incredible people and saw AMAZING performances! Congrats to everyone!” she wrote on her own Twitter.
