Miranda Sings slouches in her chair during her debut appearance on The Tonight Show in New York City on Friday night (October 14).
The internet-famous and Haters Back Off star got real on the program with host Jimmy Fallon, after Colleen Ballinger had her turn on the program.
Miranda got really honest with Jimmy, telling him, he’s not a very good late-show host: I’m the best at everything, so I can teach you.”
First, she wants him to book bigger celebrity guests: “Jon Hamm, I’d never heard of him before. Who is he? What is he famous for, making bologna? If I were a host, I’d make people tell me things about me.”
Jon Hamm appeared on the same episode as Colleen and Miranda.

Colleen Ballinger faces off against her alter ego Miranda Sings at the premiere of Haters Back Off held at The Vista Theater in Los Angeles on Tuesday night (October 11).
Premiering on Friday, October 14th, all eight episodes of Haters Back Off will debut at midnight PST on Netflix.
Based on the character created by Colleen, Haters Back Off delves into the oddball family life of Miranda Sings, an incredibly confident, totally untalented star on the rise who continues to fail upward by the power of her belief that she was born famous, it’s just no one knows it yet.
Miranda Sings star Colleen Ballinger just posted a heartbreaking video announcing her divorce from husband Josh Evans after about a year of marriage.
Josh also released an emotional video.
“I want to start off by saying Joshua is a wonderful man and I am so in love with him. This has nothing to do with ‘He’s a bad person’ or ‘He did something horrible to me’ or anything like that. He’s a good person and I love him. We have always had a very rocky relationship since the beginning. We’ve always butted heads. We’ve always fought, ever since we met really. It’s never been a perfect relationship,” Colleen, 29, said. “We’ve shown you everything because we wanted to, and I don’t regret any of that, but, you know, we chose to not share with you the hard parts of our relationship. And there were a lot of hard parts of our relationship.”
Josh said in his video, “I want it to be known that I am not choosing this divorce. I don’t want this divorce. I want her, but I truly believe she thinks she is making the right decision right now.”

“[This is] completely different from the content I already have on Youtube, and I’m excited to share it with old and new viewers,” Colleen Ballinger-Evans dished to TeenVogue.
She added that she’s “excited to show people the world and characters that have been living in my head for so many years. I can’t believe I finally get to introduce everyone to Miranda’s family and show them the backstory of how she came to be the strange internet celebrity that she is.”
In the video, Miranda says fans will get the chance to meet her family and hear more about her history and takes the chance to poke fun at YouTubers who never announce their secret projects.

On her YouTube reputation: “It’s been hard being on the internet and not being respected by people in Hollywood. A lot of people think most YouTubers are just untalented kids who film themselves for four minutes, and that’s all they do for their week. I really hope this opens doors for other YouTubers.”
