Kaitlyn Dever and Beanie Feldstein hit the blue carpet together for the premiere of their new movie, Booksmart, held at the Ace Hotel on Monday (May 13) in Los Angeles.
Booksmart centers on academic overachievers Amy and Molly, who thought keeping their noses to the grindstone gave them a leg up on their high school peers. But on the eve of graduation, the best friends suddenly realize that they may have missed out on the special moments of their teenage years.
Determined to make up for lost time, the girls decide to cram four years of not-to-be missed fun into one night — a chaotic adventure that no amount of book smarts could prepare them for.
Booksmart hits theaters on May 24th
FYI: Kaitlyn is wearing a Carolina Herrera by Wes Gordon ensemble with Brian Atwood shoes, Rona Pfeiffer jewelry and Dauphines of New York hair accessories.
The red band trailer was just released and it opens with producer Seth Rogen explaining to the kids that they aren’t allowed to watch themselves in it.
Jacob plays 12-year-old Max, who panics after being invited to his first kissing party because he doesn’t know how to kiss. Eager for some pointers, Max and his best friends Thor (Brady) and Lucas (Keith) decide to use Max’s dad’s drone – which Max is forbidden to touch – to spy (they think) on a teenage couple making out next door.
But when things go ridiculously wrong, the drone is destroyed. Desperate to replace it before Max’s dad (Will Forte) gets home, the boys skip school and set off on an odyssey of epically bad decisions involving some accidentally stolen drugs, frat-house paintball, and running from both the cops and terrifying teenage girls (Molly Gordon and Midori Francis).
The trailer isn’t appropriate for young audiences, so if you want to watch, head on over to
Kaitlyn Dever and Beanie Feldstein play two over-achieving high school besties who forgot to have fun in the upcoming movie Booksmart and the first trailer was just released!
The film is actress Olivia Wilde‘s directorial debut and it just had its premiere at the SXSW festival.
Told from a wildly original, fresh and modern perspective, Booksmart is an unfiltered comedy about high school best friends (Kaitlyn and Beanie) and the bonds we create that last a lifetime. Capturing the spirit of our times, the film is a coming of age story for a new generation.
Debby Ryan dresses up her pinstripe suit with a lacy bralette for the premiere of Life of the Party held at Auburn University on Monday night (April 30) in Opelika, Alabama.
Life of the Party centers on Deanna (Melissa McCarthy), who after being dumped by her husband, heads back to college. Winding up at the same school as her daughter, Deanna plunges headlong into the campus experience — embracing the fun, the freedom and the frat boys.
