Singer Ashley Brinton debuted her first-ever song, “All I Need,” late last year — and she just dropped her third track and video.
The rising pop star released her music video for “Slow Down” last week, and it has already amassed several hundred thousand views.
“My song ‘Slow Down’ puts every player in their place,” Ashley told JJJ. “The video is fresh, fun and very different than my other music videos. I learned choreography for the video, which I have never done before, so it’s really new for me and I’m so excited to show my fans another side of myself as an artist.”
It’s a vibrant, sassy, dance-filled video, and it is already performing so well!
The undeniably adorable appearance of Riverdale star Casey Cott as a romantic interest, the New York City tourist theme of the video, and the fact that it’s one of the catchiest songs of the summer could all be factors in the video’s success.
The 18-year-old pop star uploaded an Instagram to express her gratitude to her fans.
“how I feel about over a million views in a day.. wow thank you so much #why link in bio to watch the video!”
Pharrell has worked with Ariana Grande in the past on her summery single “Heatstroke,” (listen here) and it now he is teaming up with her again for her upcoming album!
“Ariana Grande‘s album is amazing,” the 44-year-old “Happy” singer/songwriter said of the pop princess in an interview with Today. He also confirmed that he’s been collaborating with her on her new LP.
We didn’t REALLY need anyone to tell us this (when has Ariana‘s music not been amazing?!) but it is nice to have it confirmed!
In the video, JoJo enters to a soft pastel, sullen candy store, but with a little candy and her signature JoJo spirit, she quickly makes things colorful.
For much of the video, JoJo dances around with her backup dancers behind her, twirling in her sequined skirt and unicorn top. Occasionally, the backgrounds shift to different kinds of candy.
Don’t take our word for it — watch the full video here. It’s sugary sweet!
We’re still dancing to singer Demi Lovato‘s “No Promises” track (watch the video here), but now she is teasing more new music online — and we’re jittery with anticipation!
“Seriously can’t wait for you guys to hear this new track with @jaxjones!” she tweeted Wednesday morning (June 14), “Pre-save #Instruction to your collection.”
The image for the new song is a Tabasco bottle with a green top, reading: “Jax Jones Instruction — naturally flavored with Demi Lovato, Steflon Don.”
Chlo Grace Moretz is a huge fan of the latter. The 20-year-old Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs actress took to Twitter today to show her love for the new album — twice.
“Oh my yes this album,” she tweeted, accompanied by a screenshot of her listening to the title track, late last night.
“Yes yes yes,” she tweeted again an hour later, still listening to the album.
Hey there, Nick Jonas fans, we’ve got a day-maker for you:
Nick took to Twitter yesterday (June 5) with an exciting tweet: he’s writing songs again, and he thinks that they are some of the best he has ever written!
Since he has been writing songs since he was a kid, it’s a bold claim — and we could not be more excited. (After all, can anything really beat “Year 3000″ by the Jonas Brothers?)
“I’ve been writing all week,” he tweeted, “Feel like I’m writing some of the best songs I’ve ever written. Can’t wit yo share with you all.”
I've been writing all week. Feel like I'm writing some of the best songs I've ever written. Can't wit yo share with you all.
OMG!! We certainly hope so, and so do his fans, who are responding to his tweet en masse — both to gently tease him on his typo (what is “wit yo”?) and to express their enthusiasm for his new songs.
Nick has definitely been busy lately. He released a super catchy new single, “Remember I Told You” (listen here), late last month. We can’t wait to hear what his new songs will be!
