Kendall is featured in the new issue of V Magazine and talked about how it was hard for her to break into the fashion world.
“You have no idea how many doors closed on me and how many adults were either initially reluctant to take a chance working with me or who outright laughed at me behind my back,” Kendall said. “It was kind of hard because all I was doing was going on go-sees, trying my best to break into this business as a teenager.”
“Music is definitely my number one passion. I do love acting and modelling as well. I actually never meant to be a model, never thought about it, or even had a desire to do it,” Pia recently dished. “But as everything in life, what is meant to be will be, and I sort of accidentally came upon it and enjoy having another outlet to express myself. I would always welcome acting into my life.”
Pia Mia just released her brand new song “Fill Me In” featuring the one and only Austin Mahone… and we love it!
The rising star just so happens to be celebrating her 18th birthday TODAY (September 19). Happy birthday, Pia!
“Fill Me In” was originally recorded by English singer Craig David.
Pia recently chatted with Glamour UK about who she is influenced by musically.
“Musically, I’m mostly influenced with life in general. I want my music to be unique and a representation of me, a huge part of my music is honesty. I keep a journal of my life, and many of my records are derived from those entries,” Pia said. “I’m not afraid to share my personal experiences, the ups and downs in my life, because I’m sure we all go through them. It’s the best feeling when someone comes up to me and tells me how my song completely related to their life, how it helped them get through a tough time, or how it makes them happy. There’s nothing more I could ask for, than to be putting out honest records that allow me touch other people’s lives.”
