Shane Coffey has landed a new gig!
According to Deadline, the actor has just been cast as the lead in the USA Network’s upcoming drama pilot The Novice.
The show centers on Kyle (Coffey), a charming and highly intelligent recent college graduate who is forced to move back home with his parents and siblings when his job search stalls. However, after a strange quirk of fate proves oddly fortuitous, he lands a position with a Korean crime organization.
Shane‘s past roles include Holden on Pretty Little Liars, Jimmy on The Secret Life of the American Teenager, and most recently, Tim on The Originals.
Shane Coffey is headed to New Orleans to romance Danielle Campbell.
According to EOnline, Shane will play Tim, a love interest for Davina (Campbell) who has a run-in with Klaus (Joseph Morgan) that doesn’t go so well.

“She’s absolutely gonna be trouble,” Joseph dished to Access Hollywood about Davina.
He added, “She’s incredibly powerful as we’ve seen and as we’re gonna see come Episode 4, we’re going to have a glimpse of the extent of her powers and that doesn’t bode well for the Mikaelsons being as she’s working for the opposition. She’s absolutely going to be a fly in the ointment.”
Molly Ephraim snuggles into Shane Coffey in this new still from tonight’s Last Man Standing.
In the episode “Animal Wrongs,” When Mandy’s (Ephraim) new boyfriend, Terrence (Coffey), turns out to be an animal rights activist, he clashes with Mike (Tim Allen), who collects guns and hunts for sport.
Meanwhile, Kyle discovers through an online site that, like Ed, he is Basque, and Ed embraces him as his “brother.”
“Animal Wrongs” airs TONIGHT, March 20th @ 8PM ET/PT on ABC. More Here! »
