Shailene Woodley gets author John Green laughing during the press conference for their new movie, The Fault In Our Stars, held at the Apple store in New York City on Sunday afternoon (June 1).
The two were joined by Ansel Elgort, Nat Wolff, Laura Dern, Sam Trammell and director Josh Boone for the Q&A session ahead of the film’s premiere this week.

“You learn that cancer doesn’t define a person�it’s just something one has. It taught me a lot about celebrating life and not fearing death,” Shailene recently told Parade about what she took away from the film as a whole.

Shailene Woodley wears her fave five-toed shoes while out in New York City on Saturday afternoon (May 31).
The 22-year-old actress recently spoke with Parade about her upcoming movie, The Fault In Our Stars, and the truly emotional scenes she shares with Ansel Elgort.
“They were amazing. One of them was this eulogy scene and Ansel was sitting there with pale makeup on and even though he was off screen, he was crying with me or he was locked into my eyes, and to have him in that position and to see him in that vulnerable state was really emotional because it felt so real,” she shared.
Ansel added, “I’m very glad that so many emotional scenes were with Shailene because she is so emotionally available. We’re so comfortable with each other. It’s sort of like when you cry and your mom gives you a hug and you cry harder, because we’re such good friends, in the scene we can feel the emotion even more because we’re so comfortable with each other.”

Shailene Woodley wears a cute sundress while heading into the studio to tape her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday afternoon (May 15) in Hollywood.
The 22-year-old actress stopped by the YouTube Space in Playa Vista the night before with her The Fault In Our Stars co-star Ansel Elgort and author John Green to participate in a live stream event with artists featured on the movie’s soundtrack.
During the Jimmy Kimmel Live interview, Shai talked about being able to fit all of the possessions she owns in one suitcase.
“Almost everything. I have some kitchen items that my grandmother is using, but other than that, yeah. Everything I own and use is in a carry-on suitcase,” Shailene said. “I figure if I only own a few things and it gets lost, than I’ll have nothing.”
Shailene reveals at the end of the interview that she even gave her house away to her grandma!

Ansel Elgort stops by The Ellen DeGeneres Show in Los Angeles on Tuesday afternoon (May 13) to chat about his upcoming movie, The Fault in Our Stars.
“I paint miniatures,” the 20-year-old actor confessed to the hostess about his secret talent.

The 22-year-old actress recently opened up about working with Ansel on both Divergent and this film.

“It wasn’t that weird because I’ve always sort of wondered what it’d be like kissing my brother,” Shailene joked at a Yahoo panel for the movie, adding “There’s something really beautiful about working with someone and working with them again and again and again, because the more you get to know somebody on a personal level, the more free you feel artistically. I think that if Ansel and I hadn’t known each other from Divergent, our relationship in this movie would not be what it is, because we didn’t have to go through the rehearsal phase of getting to know one another, becoming comfortable with one another.”
Shai continued, “There would be times when we’d disagree, and if we didn’t know each other, we might not say we disagree, because there’s that politeness. We were very open with one another when something wasn’t going the way we envisioned. It completely lent to these characters…Thank god we were brother and sister, and now we get to spend the next four years together, which is pretty freaking rad.”
