Troian Bellisario has sounded off on the subject of real beauty on Instagram on Wednesday afternoon (March 26) — and JJJ could not agree with her more!
The 28-year-old actress wrote, “So. Getting compliments is wonderful and everyone should feel beautiful in their own skin. But I get my hair and make up done professionally. For a job. That’s not beauty. That’s make up it’s a curling iron and hairspray. What’s beautiful is inside you. It’s your creativity. It’s your intelligence. Your empathy and your kindness to your fellow man.
“I could care less about being “pretty” or “perfect” and we should all ask ourselves why in our society that is the “highest” and most common compliment we are paying to our female friends. I’m so grateful for your support. And so thrilled to read your words. I love that you love Pll and are kind and supportive to each other.
“But let’s put this to bed… Foundation and a blow dryer do not a woman make. Rock on everyone.”
“The finale and the season five premiere [in June] feel like one big episode. That really shakes things up for us,” exec producer I. Marlene King dished to Variety.
She added, “The fifth season is this whole new show because Alison is back … [we get to look at] how that story evolved. She’s not the same person since she was when she left. The girls are not the same people they were either.
FYI: Lucy wore jewelry from Dana Rebecca Designs and EF Collection. Shay wore a YeoJin Bae dress with Manolo Blahnik heels. Ashley wore a Paule Ka top, Alexander Wang pants, a Max Mara jacket, Saint Laurent bow tie with Jennifer Meyer jewelry, Jimmy Choo shoes and an Edie Parker clutch. Sasha wore an Anne Fontaine dress and Casadei heels.
Aria, Emily, Ali, Hanna and Spencer get a scare in this new still from tonight’s all-new spring finale episode of Pretty Little Liars.
In “A Is For Answers”, after years of questions and mystery surrounding the night Alison DiLaurentis (Sasha Pieterse) disappeared, her four best friends come face to face with Ali and finally learn why she disappeared and what happened to her on that September night.
“There is a shocking Ezria twist, that’s all we need to say,” executive producer Marlene Kingrevealed at the recent 2014 PaleyFest panel.
She added about Allison (Pieterse), “[Season 5] feels like a whole new show because there are five Pretty Little Liars now. It’s going to affect them all individually. It’s going to affect them as a group. It’s going to affect their relationships with their young male and female partners. Season 5 is shaping up to be emotionally the most complex season we’ve had so far.”
